Karen Hallett

Karen qualified as a solicitor in 2010 after completing her Law Degree in 2008 at Northumbria University with a First Class Honours. Karen concluded her training contract at a large local firm and moved up to become a Partner/Director. More recently Karen moved to a Consultancy role at a national Consultancy Network.

Specialist areas of practice

Karen deals with all aspects of Commercial Property. Her experience and specialisms include :-

  • acquisitions and disposals of industrial and manufacturing sites, offices and retail premises,
  • land development including promotion agreements, option agreements and conditional contracts,
  • leasehold work including drafting and negotiating leases, surrenders and licences,
  • commercial finance including funding for acquisitions, developments and portfolio refinancing,
  • acting for pension trustees within SIPP and SSAS structures on the purchase, sale and letting of pension invested commercial property.
